1. The game

GidiLife is a free life simulation game you play in your browser, offline or online. We may add, change or remove features, and online play may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance.

In-game money isn't real. Naira (₦), items, property and anything else in the game have no real-world value. They can't be bought, sold or exchanged for real money or goods outside the game. Transfers between players are in-game only.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 to create an account and play online.
• Give accurate details, keep your password safe, and don't share your account.
• You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• One online life per account. Starting a new life replaces the old one.

3. Community rules

Online, you'll meet real people. Be a good neighbour. Don't:

• harass, bully, threaten or impersonate anyone;
• post hateful, sexual or violent content, or anything involving minors;
• share other people's personal information, or ask players for theirs;
• scam players, or offer real money for in-game money or items;
• spam, advertise, or post harmful links;
• cheat: modified clients, bots, automation, or exploiting bugs (please report bugs instead);
• try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the game or its servers.

4. Your messages

You own what you write. By sending messages in GidiLife, you allow us to show them to the people you're talking to and to store them as described in the Privacy policy. We may filter or remove messages that break these rules.

5. Moderation and suspension

If you break these terms, we may warn you, reset progress gained unfairly, or suspend or delete your account. Where we can, we'll explain why. If you think we got it wrong, contact oluwayeluifeoluwa@gmail.com.

6. A fictional Lagos

GidiLife is a work of fiction set in Lagos. Some real public places and landmarks appear as settings. Businesses, brands, characters and events in the game are fictional, and any resemblance to real people or businesses is coincidental. Real places appearing in the game doesn't mean they endorse or are connected to GidiLife.

7. Our content

The game, its code, art, characters, logo and text belong to GidiLife. You may play and share screenshots and videos of your gameplay. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the game beyond what the law allows.

8. Disclaimers and liability

GidiLife is provided free and “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and your saves safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Offline saves live in your browser and can be lost if you clear your browser data.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of in-game progress or items. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

9. Ending your use

You can stop playing at any time. To delete your account and online data, email oluwayeluifeoluwa@gmail.com from the address on your account.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Lagos State, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to court there.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and tell you in the game about important changes. If you keep playing after that, you accept the new terms.
